I am grateful to feel a new sense of home in these natural environments.

With the deepest gratitude, I want to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia & their

connections to land, sea and community.

I want to pay my respect to their elders past, present & emerging, & extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.

I pledge to donate a part of each future artwork sold to

I am an emerging artist working from the Abbotsford Convent, a unique Melbourne/Naarm arts hub in Victoria, Australia. My focus are contemporary landscape paintings & meditative short films inspired by the natural environment. Through my work, I am seeking to translate the aura of the natural world, the importance of our kinship with nature & the importance of understanding our ecosystems.

I am Polish, but grew up in Germany where I lived for many years. Eventually, I ended up in London for a little while before arriving in Australia over 13 years ago. I am feeling incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such unique landscapes which inspire me every day. Nature to me is not separate from us. It is a healing space, friend & source of all life

Ancient trees, soil ecosystems, & other natural elements are significant to our survival & sense of belonging. Humans share many similarities with nature and are part of nature. Trees for example live in cooperative communities, share a collective intelligence, and depend on communication & other living organisms. They give us a sense of place, time, & connection.

My paintings are purposefully on a large scale so that I can feel physically immersed in the landscapes I am creating. My work is an urgent response to the loss of natural habitat based on climate change & human distraction. In my projects, my intention is to gently invite the audience to reflect on our bond with nature & the accountability each of us holds to care for the land we are part of. To be connected, aware of our natural surroundings & at peace with our natural world is my motivation. My process is intuitive & guided by my emotional response to places I visit

Here are a few more common questions I thought I would
answer for you:

Artists I feel inspired by:

A few artists who inspire me in many special ways are Georgia O'Keeffe, Agnes Martin, Augusta Savage, Helen Frankenthaler, Degas monotypes, Joseph Beuys, Peter Doig (who I would love to meet one day!), Gabriele Münter, Albert Namatjira, Vincent van Gogh, David Hockney, Edvard Munch & many more to be honest...

I find it important to discover other artists'’ stories, journeys, ways of working, inspiration & struggles. It so often encouraged me, enlightened me & gave me confidence in my own creative instincts

Next work in progress:

Between 8 to 10 large-scale landscape paintings as a response to my interaction with the unique landscapes of and around Victoria. A film installation & paint made out of natural materials for certain colours. Colours & style will be soft in nature for this body of work. After experimenting in previous years, I have arrived in my process & am eager to dive deeper into this way of working. These practices will not harm the environment & support sustainable practices

Collectors:

My pieces have been acquired by The Ritz - Carlton in Naarm/Melbourne & by private collectors in Naarm, rural Victoria, interstate & Europe

Commissions:

Person-centred, intuitive energy commissions: Two per year are currently available. One can still be booked for between September and December. These are focused on your favourite landscapes, their characteristics & your story based on a mindfulness questionnaire. It is a very unique & person-focused process that I cherish.

Commercial commissions: Available all year round depending on project size & due date. Please get in touch in regards to any commission requests.

Please note: Commissions are based on a contract that will need to be agreed upon prior to commencing any project.

Extras:

Each year in June I will be announcing an auction for one of my pieces which will support a charity of my choice. 100% of the money will directly go towards a good cause. If you are a not-for-profit organisation/charity please feel free to reach out

In 2021 I have raised funds for https://jmbfoundation.org.au/ who do an incredible & important job in supporting young adults living with an acquired brain injury. A field I have worked in for over 10 years

For July 2023 I am humbled to support the ‘Defend the Dingo: Art Gallery Fundraiser’ Group Show by donating a specifically created piece in the hope to raise funds for the protection of Dingos & the first-ever National Inaugural First Nations Dingo Forum.

This important event is organised by https://www.defendthewild.org/

I am hoping for 2024 another goal is to also support https://www.geco.org.au/ who are protecting our old-growth forest in East Gippsland/ on Gunaikurnai country. Their work is crucial to our environment. Please get in touch for more scientific/or general information.

Further, I have taken part in the Afghanistan Makers Raffle Fundraiser & have collected funds for several not-for-profit organisations in Ukraine. I am also grateful to have been part of the Off The Kerb Gallery Fundraiser “Art For Ukraine” in April 2022. Together we have managed to raise $20.000 to go towards Ukraine in such devastating times

In August 2022 I contributed special edition art prints for ‘Art Worth Saving’. A collective of talented & established local artists whose purpose is to help raise awareness of our species’ rapid decline & to contribute to their preservation. I feel very humbled to have been invited to contribute to this vital cause.

Please do feel free to get in touch with any future collaboration proposal/idea of creative nature for a good cause. We are much more impactful together
